ESPN NBA Playoffs

Had a blast directing and shooting the 2014 ESPN NBA Playoff promos feat. Pitbull alongside OTHERfilms and Executive Producer Katherine Kennedy. I always enjoy capturing the spontaneous energy of all these talented athletes that comes out with a little music and "ACTION" on set -- Always makes for a fun shoot! Big shout out to the awesome Creative Producer Valerie Fischler @ ESPN for the opportunity to make this happen.

Wanted to give a well deserved shout out to all the diehard Outlaw fans as they come together from all over the country to show their pride and support for Team USA. I've had the opportunity to capture athletes and their fans at sports venues all over the world. From the UK, to South Africa, to South America, the passion, visual expression, and bond of the Outlaws stands strong throughout the globe!

ESPN FIFA WORLD CUP PROMO

Happy New Year!

I wanted to share one of the 2014 World Cup promos that I directed and shot for ESPN that recently premiered during the Rose Bowl. The goal of this particular spot was to showcase and visually express the game's past heroes on football's most beautiful stage. Enjoy!

ESPN WORLD CUP PROMO PREMIERE

June of 2013 I had the opportunity to travel to Brazil to direct and shoot a series of World Cup promos for the outstanding creative team at ESPN. I traveled between Rio and Salvador capturing the amazing, colorful people of the country and filmed two Brazilian Confederation Cup soccer matches. 

The promos premiere Jan 1st at 5PM EST on ESPN during the Rose Bowl. I’m super excited to have this kick off the new year and proud to be a part of the preparations for the 2014 World Cup.

Touba Upcoming Screenings

Hello everyone, 

I am happy to share some news about Touba, the feature length documentary film and photographic project that has been long in the making! I am so grateful to have met E. Chai Vasarhelyi, our director on Touba, about 9 years ago in Senegal where she was making a documentary about the much beloved Senegalese musician Youssou N'Dour. Chai and I were both captivated (mesmerized!) by the energy, the visuals and stories that surround the the annual pilgrimage in Senegal known asThe Magaal. It was only natural that we had to make this film.

While it gives me such great pleasure to complete the film and body of photographic work as its been a part of my life for 7 years, I will miss the creative expression that this project has provided me. Touba for me has been like going to this secret magical place. It's projects like Touba that keep my inspiration flowing as I continue my visual journey in this world and I can't wait to get started on the next one!
